Tail wheel tug June 1, 2024 Reviewer: Chad Perkins from Ida, MI United States   It will definitely move the airplane, front boards and backwards in a straight line, I think my Airplane, which is a MX seven is probably a little too heavy because with the straight handle is very awkward to hold the tail up in the air. The drill keeps coming loose from the driveshaft inside the unit constantly, and I have to make a turn in my hanger in this machine will not do that because it has both wheels that drive, I will probably get a different gearbox and with a single output I think that’ll allow it to turn. I am probably also going to change the handle and put a universal joint in it so I can have a little bit of a bend so it’s not so awkward . Was this review helpful to you?

Tugger that works September 7, 2021 Reviewer: Larry Rhoads from Raymore, MO United States   The unit works as advertised.  The speed setting on the drill covers a full range of motion from a slow walk to a full run.  My Sopwith weighs about 1000 lbs and the unit moves it smoothly.  Everything arrived in good order and went together well.  The hardest part of the assembly was getting the driveshaft installed.  It took a couple of tries to get the alinement correct.  Works great. Basic tail dragger tug April 11, 2019 Reviewer: S. Gray from WA   Because of a lot of reasons we don’t need to get into today was the first day the tug really got some use.  It’s right on.  Works perfectly.  And easy to use.  I did use it on the slowest setting because I’m new to it.  I was concerned about turning but that proved to not be an issue.  It works like a tow bar but I don’t have to put in any effort to the get the job done.  Great product.  But one comment: I ordered a second battery and don’t think that is needed.  One battery seems to be all anyone would need for normal ops.  It’s hard to believe that something this simple does such a great job. Taildragger Tug August 4, 2013 Reviewer: Gilbert Pierce from Germantown, TN United States   I use this tug on grass and up hill and also up a ramp. It is equipped with the snow tires. Even when muddy it does a great job. As a previous reviewer mentioned, set your tail wheel low in the cradle and practice. A little practice gets you the hang of maneuvering the airplane. Set tire low in cradle. July 21, 2013 Reviewer: Mark J. from MD United States   I was told that practice makes perfect using this tug. Definitely true. I was fighting the tug instead of letting it do the work. I set the tire low in the cradle to keep it from swiveling. That I think was the key. Was this review helpful to you?
